The project, through desk research, questionnaires, multiple rounds of parent and expert interviews, and community field observations, distilled a design direction with "prevention at its core," constructing an oral health service system for children that connects four parties: families, communities, schools, and hospitals.
The system consists of three mutually supporting touchpoints: a picture-book-style learning manual for children (covering four chapters: diet, growth, observation, and protection), a home detection toolkit (dental mirrors and floss for children), and a community interactive installation (featuring two gamified modules: mirror interaction and food interaction).
The entire service shifts oral health from "treatment after problems occur" to "daily continuous observation and habit cultivation," providing parents with professional knowledge, creating an interest gateway for children, and offering communities a sustainable health promotion carrier.
